  1. These are wonderful. As an artist myself, I admire good tools and this is such and witty take on our own hands as tools. Bravo!

  2. Very Creative… Excellent

  3. Oscar P

That hammer would make a great zombie melee weapon.

  4. Kate

These are wonderful and very creative. Also, I agree with oscar, the hammer would be great for Z-Day!

  5. Dr.wtf

I personally am an artist and I know when I see a fake.
    These are def. photoshopped.
You can tell by the pixels, & the shadows aren’t matching up.
If you were an artist you’d know these were fakes.

  6. anon

and it would make a better zombie weapon if it had two fingers out, three stooges eye-poke style.

  7. Dario

    Two words: Kick Ass.

  8. Very cool. I like the wrench.

  9. No way these are photoshopped, other than some minor color and background tweaking, I’m a professional that uses photoshop every day, I would know.

Awesome work, I really want that hand crescent wrench.

  10. These look pretty handy to have on-hand… ya really gotta hand it to that guy.

  11. Josh

Why is there always some asshole on every blog insisting that something is photoshoppped. I would imagine in this case, it’s because foundry work is a means of production many so called “artist” have no access to and have never done. Quit your gripping and try a little harder instead of shitting on someone who actually acomplishes shit.

  12. this is cool work tools I want them too.

  13. Grudge

I hate Photoshop wannabe screamers! Some advice take a proper photoshop class and then get a degree in art then you can scream photoshop. I work with that program all the time for my profession. These are good works of art. Minor changes have been made to the BG. Wonderful imagination to the artist.

  14. good ‘good good

  15. WilderBear

hell, these are the tools i need!

  16. brad

great tools, not practical, ever heard the saying, right tool for the right job, right hand for the hand job?

    p.s “photoshoped”

  17. Shovelface

Man, people *always* bite on the comments about stuff being ’shopped. 999,999 times out of a million they’re just being ironic and having a little fun. No need to get all high and mighty, fellas.

The hammer might actually be more effective as an instrument of pain than as an actual tool.

It’d have been ironic a few years ago, now it’s just trolling.

ok what the f is wrong with you dr.wtf. this isnt fotoshopped, and that is quite obvious. all you “artists” (idiots) who think you can tell whether something is real or not because you are an “artist”, you guys can just screw off because everybody knows your just copy pasting that comment to every pic you see so you can sound cool. this isnt fotoshopped because they sell them all the time at my local hardware store. somebody put their time and effort into this and they probably didnt want you to say its fotoshopped so just shutup up you idiots.
p.s. this is really cool and ill porobably buy one next time i go to the hardware store.

@ Josh… “Why is there always some asshole on every blog insisting that something is photoshoppped?”
Because it’s a joke, not claiming it’s the funniest running joke the web has seen but that’s exactly what it is. 99% percent of the time when someone says they can tell by the pixels (especially in a situation like this where it is only a photo of someone’s artwork or there is no photography involved) you know it’s a wisecracker lol. I’ve seen this comment on stories and jokes before.

  21. These are great!!!!! Now if they could only do the work themselves!!!

  22. So. what’s up with the lighting on some of these? Why does it look like the light is coming at one angle in one instance but another light in another part of the piece? hmmmmm…

  23. mr.fister

i like these. very articulately detailed, and quite a creative play on the term “hand tools”. and for you kids crying photoshop, stfu. i mean seriously, even if they are, which i do not think they are other than background work, they are still artistic and creative. very nicely done in any case of the manner of craftsmanship.

  24. Nikki

Kind of creepy, but I like it.

  25. jake

What tool is the middle one, the two grasping hands?

  26. anon

Hey, I are artist. This phosos fake. Plz send money for coffee.

  27. Mordoz Lord of Cookies

@ Eric: They have multiple light sources. This is what a professional photographers do t o make a piece pr person look good. It quite basic. I saw my brother do his photography work oi this way for his own art. hes both a photographer and media artist. He uses photoshop to enhance the lighting more dramatically, but subtly. Color correction..etc. all to make it look right. The pieces are very real..the enhancements aren’t so much. So what , is art.

Everyone should look at his website before judging anything. Who cares if something is physically real or not. I don’t. Art is art, digital or otherwise.

Peace and art to one and all!

I think that the fists in the image resemble mine too much!! and it scares me!!! I also think that the wrench was a REALLY good idea except….. it looks like hes measuring someones endowment (penis) size….. yeah and it took me a while to figure the middle one…….

    ….OOOHHHHHHH its a rocket sorta..

    Well thats my critic.

OMFG PHOTOSHOPPED wait… what if they are all just pictures and thats what some of them are supposed to be….. EVER STOP TO THINK…..
btw its really sad that you had to come here just to say that someone sucks at something…. Like !no! seriously you have to put someone down just to feel better about yourself……

    It’s a little depressing….

The only reason I came here was because I was bored and I was stumbling….

So I ended up here read all the comments and decided some people needed a kick in the butt…

But to whoever made this i am really impressed with all your work and keep it up someone will really like it some day im sure.

  29. Art McArtist

I have been an artist for 3 and a half days and it is quite clear these were not photoshopped. They had to have used a technology far superior to that of photoshop, possibly MS paint?

In my many seconds of dedication to art I still have not mastered paint yet so I cant be completely sure…

Fortunately for me I have tons of real artist friends that do art and only art so I will ask them if this art is real art or some other form of art.

I love artistic discussions, especially about art.

  30. Mrs.Art McArtist's mom

My son has been an artist for 3 and a half days, as he quite clearly pointed out. As an artist, he knows artists and about art, and about artists who know about art. I love discussing my son’s artistic discussions, especially about discussing discussions about art. I’m very proud of him. He can use MS paint and internet sarcasm.

  31. For the love of God

Once and for all, know your f-ing meme.

    http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/this-looks-shopped

  32. Mojo

All the comments here are photoshopped. Or as “Brad” says, “photoshoped.” Everybody probably recognizes that “Brad” is in reality a JPEG, which is of course a lossy compression method, which accounts for the missing “p”. Soon he will just be “Bad”.

  33. becca

    These aren’t photoshopped.

They actually don’t exist at all.

    I can tell because I’m a mystic.

  34. Lob

These look shopped. I can tell from the pixels and from seeing quite a few shops in my time.

  35. Photoshop

I’m sorry to inform you, but Art McArtist had the most correct post. These were, in fact, done on MS Paint. I can tell because I’m the fucking program that makes the pixels and shadows, and MS Paint is my gay lover.
