Louise Hindsgavl


Louise Hindsgavl is a relatively young ceramist, who graduated from the ceramics department of Designskolen Kolding in 1999. In recent years her narrative, white porcelain figures have been receiving great acclaim. Her main motifs are people and animals; darling deer and cute children immediately create references to knick-knacks and popular culture, not least porcelain-figurine traditions as we know them from Meissen or Royal Copenhagen.
