That’s just a bunch of useless brass and garbage slapped on a wooden deer. I bet he didn’t even make the deer. But hey, you slap some brass, and buckles onto something and voila! It’s steampunk, and steampunk is ALWAYS cool amirite?

Its art! To some its crap, to some a marvel! That’s art! My stuff has been judged, so I understand. some love it some hate it. Its not created for appreciation, you just need to create! Any fool can criticize, what have you created lately?

“steampunk animal sculpture”
Well that’s unnecessary… nothing about this sculpture is “steampunk” and forcing the artist into an art movement that they are not trying to replicate is probably undesirable.

stuff is things
I love the juxtaposition with the naturally inspired sculpture, to the over worked, over engineered filigree. It seams hindered and trapped by all of the equipment.
Also– this is not steampunk.
