The design is interesting, but the issue with buying sushi anywhere other than a sit down restaurant is freshness. I’d be hesitant to buy raw fish in a tube with packaging that resembles things in the dry goods aisles of the grocery store, so I hope each one is stamped with a date or something.

what a fantastic idea! it reminds me of those old ice cream poppers (do they still have them around i wonder?)

“sushi” just refers to the rice. there may not be any fish involved at all - in fact, judging by the (blurry) photo, those look like cucumber rolls to me. definitely not dried goods, either; the packaging says to keep it refrigerated.
