Portland-based graphic designer and entrepreneur Matt W. Moore aka MWM (previously-blogged) just launched Glyph Cue FW09 hoodies collection. Each piece has a hidden narrative or encrypted message that requires the viewer to spend a few minutes deciphering it. Check out the site to see all of MWM’s designs. The man never sleeps… he must be part machine or something.

‘ As part of a national campaign promoting McDonald’s restaurants, a downtown Vancouver lamppost became part of an out-of-home (OOH) optical illusion, appearing to pour coffee into a giant cup on the sidewalk. At the time, McDonald’s was giving away free small cups of its brew for a two-week period, in an effort to attract new breakfast customers. Ad firm Cossette’s Vancouver office developed the concept for a lamppost near 6th Avenue and Cambie Street. The post was wrapped in brown vinyl to resemble poured coffee, while an oversized carafe was attached to the end. Elsewhere in the city, a transit shelter was turned into an ‘hourglass,’ with an ever-diminishing number of coffee beans reminding customers of the promotion’s short-term nature. ‘ Link here.

RubyRed is home to UK based graphic designer Roger Denyer who specializes in corporate identity and exhibition design. Majority of his t-shirts either have social or political messages and some are just plain fun. All the designs are printed on 100% cotton American Apparel t-shirts and available in a wide range of colors and styles.
